Renting with Mile

Renting shouldn't be stressful. We keep it simple — hundreds of properties across North, West and North West London, matched to what you actually need, with a team who know the local market inside out.

Since May 2026, all new tenancies are assured periodic tenancies rather than fixed-term contracts — so there's no minimum term to commit to, and you're free to leave with two months' notice whenever suits you. Rent increases are limited to once a year, and landlords can't ask for rent above the advertised price — so what you see is what you pay. 

How it works:

1. Register — tell us what you're looking for; we only send you properties that match, and we never share your details with third parties
2. Viewings — arranged at a time that suits you
3. Offer made — a week's rent secures it as a holding deposit, put towards your first month with your permission
4. Referencing — credit, employer, landlord and bank checks, handled by an independent referencing specialist
5. Pre-tenancy documents — clearly explained before you sign anything
6. Tenancy agreed — a rolling periodic tenancy, no fixed term to worry about
7. Deposit protected — five weeks' rent (six if annual rent is over £50,000), safely held in a government-approved scheme
8. Move in — the keys are yours
